"Whiter Shade Of Pale" - Procol Harum
* We have been owned by Chinese Shar-Pei since 1987. We had our first litter in 1989.
We take pride in our successful program. Our goal is health, temperament and longevity. Our puppy contract includes guarantees for health and against hip dysplacia.
* Our puppies are raised in our home with very special, loving care.
They have grown up to make many people happy;
whether it be in the show ring, for breeding, or as a lovable family pet. We only breed 1 litter about every 2 years.
Our puppies are available to approved homes only.
We currently have 7 Shar-Pei in our family. All of them live in our home and share our
lives. We are very active with our dogs by showing in Conformation and
competing in Obedience and Agility.
We have bred several dogs that have obtained their AKC
(American Kennel Club),
UKC (United Kennel Club) and CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) Conformation Championships (Ch) and
Obedience Companion Dog (CD)Titles and AKC, NADAC & CPE Agility Titles.
We also do nursing home visits with our certified Therapy Dogs
plus several public
education events each year and assist in rescue.
Whether or not you own a Thornapple Hill puppy, please feel to contact us with any
questions you may have. We are here to help educate the public on the Chinese Shar-Pei and
to help support other Shar-Pei owners. We are active members of the Chinese Shar-Pei Club
of America (CSPCA) and the American Kennel Club
(AKC). Janet is on the Board of Directors of the Southeastern
Keystone Chinese Shar-Pei Club (SEKCSPC), an active member of
the Susque-Nango Kennel Club (SNKC)
and President and the Delegate to the AKC for the Del-Otse-Nango Kennel
Club (DONKC).
